The Newark Charter School open enrollment
period for the 2013-14 school year IS NOW CLOSED.
Enrollment is open to all Delaware
residents. In the event that the number of applications
exceeds the number of openings, a lottery will be used to
select students, with preferences given as noted in the
lottery procedures, which can be downloaded from this page.
Students
who have been placed on a waiting list for Newark Charter
School in the past must reapply for the 2013-2014 school
year. Siblings of current students must submit an application
to the school during the open enrollment period to be considered
for admission.

Charter School Brochure
Newark Charter School desires to create
and sustain an environment that prepares our students for
citizenship in an increasingly global society, living and
learning among peers whose perspectives and experiences differ
from their own. We embrace differences and commonalities
across race, nationality, gender, religion, physical
appearance, learning ability, and socio-economic backgrounds.
We value every student and consider their contribution
significant.
